The enduring principles set out by our founding partner Sir Edmund ‘Ted’ Happold were care, value and elegance. Through our partnership with Buro Happold, we have access to 27 offices across the globe. We have a permanent presence in North America, Europe and the Middle East. As our markets continue to exapand, so will our network of offices and global coverage.

We believe that it is this ‘local’ presence that helps us to go that step further working closely with our clients to deliver innovative, cutting edge solutions that take into consideration ‘local’ factors such as culture, legislation, climate and materials. This consideration for the rich tapestry of local markets  makes an enormous difference to the projects we work on and in the process makes a great project an amazing project.

Our Offices

  • Abu Dhabi

    Located on the Persian Gulf, the city is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and is renowned for being very cosmopolitan in its outlook.

  • Bath

    An ancient Roman city, Bath is the historical home of Happold Consulting. It is also the headquarters of Buro Happold and, as such, is an important office for us. Our team here has worked on a wide variety of our projects, often supporting our Buro Happold colleagues in their work.

  • Berlin

    Building on our long history of working on some of Germany’s most iconic landmarks the opening of our Berlin office in 1991 allowed Buro Happold to work on projects across the country and well into Central Europe.

  • London

    As one of the world's acknowledged cultural and creative centres, London is also one of Buro Happold's key locations.

  • New York

    New York is the largest metropolitan area in the US and the first to become home to an office of Buro Happold. Since 1985 our presence has grown in the New York area and we are proud to be part of some of the city’s most iconic projects, such as the High Line.

  • Riyadh

    Set up in 1983, our Riyadh office is well located within the region and enjoys good communication links with the rest of the Middle East and internationally.
