Irum has 15 years experience of working as an economist in the built and natural environment and as a market analyst. Her roles prior to joining Happold Consulting, included working in the public sector practice for PA Consulting Group and running market research and analysis activities for a consortium headed by Unilever. Irum is an accredited Prince2 Practitioner and holds an MPhil in Economics from Cambridge University and a 1st Class BSc in Economics from University College London.

Irum has undertaken assignments which have involved providing socio economic impact assessments, investment opportunity assessment, market and industry demand analysis and the development of key performance indicators and the associated development of assurance solutions around these.

Her key expertise includes facilitation, project management, interviewing skills and the running of workshops, data analysis, collaborative working with client organisations and wider stakeholders and the development of business improvement processes.
